Angela D. Barnes, M. Ed.

Angela D. Barnes, an Indianapolis native, is a poet, podcaster, and teacher. Although she has written poetry as long as she has been able to write, “Tiger Out of the Cage” is her first book. In addition to writing, she enjoys teaching high school students and seeing them learn. Angela serves our community as a school board member and a Best Buddies Chapter Advisor in addition to participating in community service projects as an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. In her free time, Angela rows competitively with her teammates at the Indianapolis Rowing Center. She is happily married, and she has one amazing daughter.
